# UIUCTF 2021

UIUCTF is an annual Capture the Flag competition run by undergraduate students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).

### Hello, Fawl here.

I typically don't publish writeups for CTFs - despite being the team reverse engineer, I don't believe I'm at a skilled enough that my writeups would be worth publishing.

This time, however, my teammate [zeyu2001](https://zeyu2001.gitbook.io) encouraged me to publish writeups, given the selection of prize money available. As such, you'll find below writeups for four of the beginner challenges, three serious and one tongue-in-cheek. Given how reversing can be quite an intimidating topic, I've done my best to present the writeups in an accessible, tutorial-style fashion.
