I typically don't publish writeups for CTFs - despite being the team reverse engineer, I don't believe I'm at a skilled enough that my writeups would be worth publishing.
This time, however, my teammate encouraged me to publish writeups, given the selection of prize money available. As such, you'll find below writeups for four of the beginner challenges, three serious and one tongue-in-cheek. Given how reversing can be quite an intimidating topic, I've done my best to present the writeups in an accessible, tutorial-style fashion.
